Distinctive Features

The most distinctive features of the college lie in two major professional domains: Humanities and Education with discipline cluster-based development and departmental innovation as primary forces. Upholding the idea of holistic education, we cultivate students’ professional competencies and place great importance on teacher education to further implementation of holistic education.

2. Education integrated by theory and application

We cultivate students to integrate the theory with application to fulfill the demand in the society as well as in the property.

3. Elaborating on the planning of General Education curricula and activities

The General Education curricula involve four dimensions—the Creator, Humanity, the Entire Creation, and the Individual Self. In addition, General Education is able to integrate cross-field programs, enlarging the horizons of this university in Humanities.

4. Developing the potential of teaching Mandarin Chinese, and delivering it to foreign countries

Mandarin Chinese is becoming popular around the world. It is hoped to introduce the elaborate Mandarin Chinese instruction and testing programs as broadly as possible, and to become a leading force in doing so.
